Brandon L. Taggart, age 21, of New Paris, Ohio, died Sunday morning (February 19, 2012) at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Richmond on July 17, 1990 and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a 2009 graduate of National Trail High School and was employed by Petro Stopping Center. His father, Jeffrey A. Taggart, died on December 19, 2000. Survivors include his mother - Julie (Jim) Favorite of New Paris; brother - Derek Taggart of Richmond; girlfriend - Megan Christian of New Paris; maternal grandparents - John and Shirley Zwissler of Richmond; paternal grandmother - Carol Sue Taggart of New Paris. His grandfather, Fred Taggart, is also deceased. Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (February 24, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Mike Ballard of Sylvan Nook Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
