C. Elizabeth Ketron, age 91, formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday (June 22, 2014) in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Hagerstown, Indiana on July 15, 1922 to Sam and Ethel Mull LaMar. She lived in the Richmond/Eaton/Campbellstown area all of her life before moving to Indianapolis in 2011. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and married Ralph R. Ketron on August 21, 1942 in Richmond, Indiana. Lizzie worked on an assembly line at a glove factory and at ALCOA during World War II, and then as a payroll clerk for AVCO before retiring. Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband "Butter" and her brother Truman LaMar. Survivors include: son, Ronnie (Shirley) Ketron of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Staci Hicks, Veronica Ketron, Rebecca (Ryan) Brizendine and Victoria Ketron; great grandchildren, Donovan Holder, Joseph Hicks, Della Brown, Elizabeth Hicks, Bodey Brizendine and Rafe Brizendine; on brother, two sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (June 27, 2014) at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary (32 South 11th St. Richmond, IN). Friends may call on Thursday (June 26, 2014) from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Earlham Cemetery.
