Calvin O. Schepman, age 93, of Fountain City passed away Saturday (June 10, 2017) surrounded by family. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on February 29, 1924 to Oran C. and Irene Petty Schepman. Calvin served honorably in the US Navy during WWII, he owned and operated his own HVAC company and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed working, mowing his lawn, gardening, and going to McDonald's every morning to see his friends. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife Bernice; children Tim (Tiffany) Schepman, Frank (Melinda) Duff and Linda (Denver) Brumfield; grandchildren Kaci, Amber, Mike and Melissa, Stacy and Jim, Jay, Kristina, Brian, Jermay, Ricky, Chad and James; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Oran and Irene, son Steve and 2 sisters.
Services for Calvin will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday (June 16, 2017) at Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Michael Stonebraker will officiate. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Calvin's name to St. Judes Childrens Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105).
