Candace J. Richardson, age 52, of Richmond, died Sunday (December 9, 2012) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on June 4, 1960 to Robert and Anna Marie Allen Day and had lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and received a bachelor's degree from Indiana University. She was formerly employed by Indiana University East as the Disability Accommodations Coordinator. Survivors include her husband of 27 and one half years, Dennis Richardson; brothers, Ron (Rheita) Day, John Day, Tom (Debbie) Day, Dennis Day all of Richmond; nieces and nephews, Kelly, Jim, Cindy, Paula, Ronnie, Jamie, Larry, Randy, Shelly, Johnny, Daniel, Tommy, Matt, Heather, Jacob, Christopher, Larry, Nick, Randy, Britny, Josh, Kaytlyn, Brooke, Johnny, Abby, Ashley, Sarah, Bradlee, Jeffrey, Alexa, David, Gracie, Daryan, Gabrielle, Carrie, R.J., Destiny, Hailey, Hunter, Trenton, Morgan, Shellbie, Madilynne, Timothy, Andrea, Mason, Makayla, Aubrey, Reilly, Corey, Tyrel and Andraya. She also leaves three special friends, Barb Corwin, Pam Mullins and Shari Green. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother James Day in 1983, a sister Bonnie Longfellow in 2011, a nephew, Timothy Day in 2000 and niece, Destiny Perseponko in 2008. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday (December 14, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Doug Wheeler will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
