Carl Clayton Bowling (Bennett), also known as "CC", age 34, of Richmond passed away Sunday February 27, 2022 at Reid Health. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on December 1, 1987 to Bilbo Bennett and Starla Bowling. He worked as an assistant manager at the Miller Milkhouse on East Main Street for 8 years. He also worked at Stanley Steamer with his brother for 1 year before working in roofing/construction. He was happily divorced, loved fishing, going to local Mounds Beach, watching wrestling and Colts football games. His favorite thing to do was taking a back road cruise while listening to music as loud as it could be turned up. He brought so much joy and happiness anywhere he went, everyone would call him "the life of the party" and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his brothers Christian Bowling and Lil' Bilbo Bennett; sister Brandi Bennett; distant children Carl Bowling Jr., Peyton Bowling and Cali Bowling of Florida; grandma Anita Amburgey; aunts Joan Harris, Kathy Jarrett, Cathy Jean and Jenny Taylor; uncles Carl Lee Taylor, Dennis Reffitt; several cousins and special close friends who he viewed as family. He is preceded in death by his parents Bilbo Bennett and Starla Bowling, aunt Glenna Reffitt, his cousin CJ Taylor, grandparents Howard and Geraldine Bennett and Uncle Robert Bennett.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
