Carol Ellis, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 29, 2025 at Reid Health. She was born in Kentucky on September 7, 1957 to Cord Morris Jr. and Florine (Dailey) Morris. She was married on June 23, 1986, to Charlie "Charles" Ellis.

A longtime resident of Richmond, Indiana, Carol was known for her green thumb and passion for gardening. Her vibrant flower beds were a testament to her love for nature, which she often shared with family and friends. She enjoyed dressing up, taking the time to get her nails done, and accessorizing with her favorite pieces of jewelry, embodying a spirit that appreciated the little things in life.

Carol was not just a gardener; she was a selfless soul who found happiness in lending a helping hand. . She would always say "I don't have time to let grass grow under my feet!" Whether it was assisting friends with projects or simply offering a warm smile, she had an incredible talent for making others feel loved and supported. One of her greatest accomplishments was being a grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved dearly and will be missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Ben (Crissy) and Jennifer; siblings Kathy (Richard), Darlene (Terry), Mark (Carolyn); grandchildren Maggie (Sindy), Andrew (Gabby), Sidney (Patrick), Danielle, Emma, Myla, Ally, Abel, Cord, Jacob, Brittany and Madison; great-grandchildren Ashton, Axel, Atlas, Frankie, Delilah and Hazel; nephews Matthew (Jennifer), Andrew, Jeff and Jared (Sarah); countless friends including special friend Connie. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Charles and brother David Morris.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00pm (noon) Monday January 5, 2026, at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio (10302 New Biddinger Rd. Harrison, OH 45030). Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
