Carolyn F. Brumfield, age 84, of Richmond, died Monday evening (February 7, 2011) at Forest Park Health Campus. She was born in Richmond on October 23, 1926 to Richard and Marguerite Turner Bullerdick and had lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and was a retired employee of Kessler's Team Sports. Carolyn was an active member of Saint Paul's Lutheran church where she served in numerous positions including treasurer and with The Katherine Von Boras. Her husband of 64 years, Denver Brumfield, died on June 7, 2009. Survivors include daughters - Evelyn (Robby) Bane of Centerville, Carolyn Jo Brumfield of Richmond; sons - Denver (Linda) Brumfield, Jr. of Richmond, Mark (Patricia) Brumfield of Whitewater; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren. A son, David Lee Brumfield, a great grandson and great granddaughter are also deceased. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday (February 11, 2011) in Saint Paul's Lutheran Church (121 South 18th Street). Pastor Robert Meckley will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (February 11, 2011) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
