Carolyn J. Davis of Richmond, Indiana and formerly of San Fernando, California, passed away peacefully Monday, June 23rd, 2014. She was born in Richmond on November 2nd, 1944 to Joseph and Edna Davis was one of seven children. In 1959 Carolyn married William Davis and together they had on daughter, Damita "Dee Dee" Jo Johnson, one grandson DeWayne Johnson and one great granddaughter Kayleen Grace Johnson. Together they spent years as avid classic car collectors and were proprietors of B & C Video. Carolyn is preceded in death by both her parents, all her siblings (Bill, Opal, Tommy, Jerry, Mary, and Jeff), her husband Bill and only daughter Damita. Her family tree continues on with grandson Dewayne, great granddaughter Kayleen; two cousins Christal Goodwin of West Virginia and Paul Rigsby of Ohio; Four nieces Marlene, Vickey of Kentucky, Shaunda of Kentucky, and Kimberly of Florida; seven nephews Mike of Ohio, John of Kentucky, Phillip, Jerry Jr., Stevie of California, Michael of Illinois, and Chad of Florida; several great nieces & nephews and special friends. She also leaves behind her special companion Boston Terriers Georgia & Pistol and Toby & Roscoe who will all miss her very much. Services for Carolyn will be held on Tuesday (July 1st, 2014) at 1 p.m. in Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor David Eales will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
