Carolyn Newton, age 83, of Richmond passed away peacefully Monday (April 7, 2014) at Heritage House of Richmond. She was born in Connersville, Indiana on August 5, 1930 to Clyde and Norma Floyd Hall. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and she loved watching her soap opera shows. When her greatest love and husband Tildon died in 2010, her will to live died with him. Survivors include grandsons Larry Williams Jr. and Brian Williams; daughter-in-law Bonnie Williams; 4 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great Great-grandchild; 3 Brothers; and 6 Step Children. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two sons Larry and Donnie Williams; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Services for Carolyn will be held on Friday (April 11, 2014) at 11:00 A.M. In Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Paul Mingus will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery following the service. Friends may call on Thursday (April 10, 2014) from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral home.
