Carolyn E. (Raney) Galyean, of Centerville, peacefully passed away on Saturday November 8, 2025 at the age of 91. She was born in Angola, Indiana on February 13, 1934 to Samuel and Emma (Robertson) Raney. Carolyn graduated from Angola High School in 1952 and was married to J. Robert "Bob" Galyean on November 2, 1952. Carolyn worked as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service and was an administrative assistant to congressman David W. Dennis. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, fine dining and going to the beach. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Susan (John) Abrams, Ronald Galyean and Thomas (Rhonda) Galyean; grandchildren Eliza Gray, Timothy Southwood, Andrew Galyean, Emily Bane, Bailey Galyean, Samuel Galyean, Haley Adams and Jacob Adams; sister Barbie Kemp; and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert and siblings Carl Raney and Doris Kurtz.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's name to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741).

Services for Carolyn will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday November 15, 2025 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary with visitation from 12pm-2pm prior to the service. Following the service, burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandra, Ohio.
