Catherine A. Harris, age 97, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (September 1, 2021) at Friends Fellowship Community. She was born in Richmond on July 21, 1924 to Christopher and Mae Kinsella and lived here most of her life. She had a sister, Anna Mae Kaiser and Brother James Kinsella. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and Good Samaritan Nursing School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked at Crosley Company as a nurse. Her further experience in pursuit of nursing included private duty at Reid Memorial Hospital and Indiana State Hospital and medical facility in Wayne County. Catherine enjoyed various clubs such as quilting and sewing. She enjoyed vacations with her husband Kermit of 62 years. Catherine is survived by her son Kurt (Linda) Harris of Fairfax Station, Virginia. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary on Tuesday (September 7th) with funeral Mass at Holy Family at 11 AM. Burial will occur in Earlham Cemetery where graveside services will be conducted by Father Sengole Gnanaraj following the Mass.
