Cecile F. Holvik, age 85, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (June 13, 2007) at Friends Fellowship Community.� She was born in Brighton, Massachusetts to J. Arthur and Chrona Cote' Favreau and had lived in Richmond since 1949.� She was a 1942 graduate of Radcliffe College and was employed as a secretary at Earlham College from 1966 - 1971 and as Director of the Earlham College News Bureau from 1972 - 1981.� She had served as a member of the board of the Wayne County Unit of the American Cancer Society and had been an active volunteer at Reid Hospital.� She was a member of Clear Creek Friends Meeting.� Her husband, Leonard Holvik, died on October 29, 1996.

Survivors include her daughters - Karen Deitemeyer of Kissimmee, Florida,� Claire Favro of Bremerton, Washington;� son - Peter Holvik� of Kenton, Ohio;� 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
