Obituary

Charles E. "Bud" Lang, age 91, of Richmond, died Wednesday evening (July 3, 2013) at Friends Fellowship Community. He was born in Franklin County, Indiana on June 22, 1922 to Harry Lang, Sr and Lena Rosenberger Lang and had lived in Liberty most of his life before moving to Richmond in 2001. He was a retired employee of Wayne Dairy after which he was a school bus driver for ten years for Union County Schools. Bud loved his family and he loved his caregivers at Friends Fellowship Community whom he considered extended family. He was a hard worker and a man of faith. He had a quick smile, loved music and singing and loved dancing with his wife Rosemary. He was a member of the YMI. His wife of 69 years, Rosemary Lang, died October 20, 2011. Survivors include his children, Priscilla (Ron) Robinson, Mona (Ed) McCrory, Terry (Carolyn) Lang, Rick (Mary) Lang, Tony Lang; 12 grandchildren, Mike Robinson, Becky Wells, Teresa Tollett, Tim Robinson, Michelle Ramsey, Susan Nicholson, Jill Lang, Aaron Richardson, Kate Lang, Travis Lang, Ali McDermott, Chelsea Lang; 12 great grandchildren, Emily Robinson, Eric Robinson, Jessica Robinson, Ian Robinson, Evan Wells, Paige Wells, Nathan Tollett, Seth Tollett, Ava Robinson, Nora Robinson, Brandon Ramsey, Kaler Nicholson; nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Howard, Harry, Jr. , Bob Lang and two sisters, Marjorie Feller and Patsy Fohl, are also deceased. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday (July 9, 2013) in Saint Andrew Church. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday (July 8, 2013) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.
