Charles H. Cosgrove, age 78, of Richmond, died Sunday (April 27, 2014) at Golden Living - Richmond. He was born in Richmond on January 20, 1936 to Virgil and Hazel Wiggins Cosgrove and had lived here all of his life. He had worked for the former Johnson Sheet Metal and retired as an employee of Johns Manville. He is survived by his daughter, Vicky Cox of Richmond; sisters, Donna Hengstler of Cambridge City, Indiana, Margarite Harness of Parker City, Indiana; Liz Krill of Saint Petersburg, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Cox, Darrin Cox, Dougles Cox; 6 great grandchildren, Braylon, Aaliyah, Karrah, Elijah, Josiah, Kennah; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a sister, Patty Jennings, and 2 brothers, James Cosgrove and Mike Cosgrove, are also deceased. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (May 3, 2014) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary (32 South 11th St. Richmond, IN 47374) Rev. Billy Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday (May 3, 2014) from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charles Cosgrove Fund in care of the funeral home.
