It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Charles J. Isaac, of Centerville, who left us peacefully on May 13, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 6, 1935, in Jellico, Tennessee to Walter and Linda (Allen) Isaac.
In 1957, Charles married the love of his life, Lois Marie Johnson, in Richmond, Indiana. Together, they built a beautiful family that he deeply loved. He dedicated over 40 years of his life to Wayne Works. Charles approached life with a passion for the outdoors, often found fishing or tending to his garden, and enjoyed the fruits of his labor by canning veggies. He had a love for bluegrass music and was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville, where he found community and fellowship. Charles's warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lois; grandchildren John Luce and Jennifer (Jeff) Adams; 6 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son Larry Isaac, daughter Brenda Isaac Luce and brother Jack Isaac.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Goshen Cemetery, Richmond, Indiana, where dear friends and family members will gather to honor and remember Charles.
