Cherry Ann Jent, age 72, passed away at home on Wednesday January 18, 2023. She was born in Elwood, Indiana on October 18, 1950 to Robert and Mary Francis Miller. Cherry was married to Jasper Jent Sr. and together they had five wonderful children. She lived in Summitville, Indiana before moving to Anderson, Indiana and finally settling in Richmond in 1992. She enjoyed watching soap operas and spending time with her dog "Peanut". Cherry loved all her children and grandchildren with every being she had and lived by the quote: "If you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all". She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Stephania (Joseph) Abling, Jasper Jr. (Jennifer) Jent, Michele (Leonard) Dailey and Brian Jent; grandchildren Brandon Lee Jent, Savanna Ann Jent, Sherry Faye Dailey, Meagan (Dillon) Wells, Johnny Dailey; great grandchildren Paige Wells, Renesmee Wells, Alex Wells, Emerson Wells; sister Judy Cole and nephew Michael Miquels. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jasper Sr.; daughter Kimberly Sue; sister Janice Miller and aunt Lois Riley.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday January 23, 2023 at Chester Cemetery, (Arba Pike, Richmond, Indiana). Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary is handling arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family via the tribute wall.
