Cheryl S. Oberle, age 66, passed away on Sunday (May 11, 2014) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on February 5th,1948 to Donald and Edna Boyer and had lived here all her life. She had worked at GTE, and later at Community Action working with clients. Cheryl loved traveling to Florida and visiting the beaches there. She also loved gardening, and loved being a grandma to her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters Joan (Donald) Wolf and Jennifer (Mark Seng) Oberle; Her partner of 24 years Leonard Hoel; Brother Donald (Cheryl) Boyer; Grandsons Paul Wolf & Blake Oberle; Granddaughters Alex Bullock and Hanna Bullock; many nieces, nephews, and close friends. In addition to her parents, a brother David Boyer and first husband Paul Oberle Jr. are also deceased. Services for Cheryl will be held on Friday (May 16th, 2014) at 11 a.m. in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor David Eales will officiate. Burial will follow in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday (May 15th, 2014) from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
