Christine (Gray) Mills, age 89, passed away on Monday May 23, 2022 at Reid Health. She was born in McKee, Kentucky on June 17, 1932 to Lerman and Dema Wright Gray. Christine came from a large family and had taken care of herself since she was 15 years old. On October 12, 1957, she married Baxter Mills and became the matriarch of their family. Christine moved from Kentucky and worked at Richmond Glove Factory before becoming a CNA, working at Golden Rule for 30 years. She loved her children and her grandchildren and considered her grandchildren her hobby. She absolutely loved spending time with them. Christine was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was always there to listen. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and will be dearly missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Debra (Joe) Smith and Paula (Paul) Bisker; grandsons Thomas Matthew Shepard, Mark James Shepard, Brandon Lawrence Bisker and Brett Ryan Bisker and siblings Olene Angel and James D. Gray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Imogene Fox, Bobbie Potter, Beatrice Lynch, Lola Cole and brothers Harmey Gray and Cecil Gray.

Services for Christine will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday May 27, 2022 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Jon Kaufman will officiate. Burial will follow in Goshen cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Friday May 27, 2022 at the funeral home.
