Christopher V. Williams, age 60, of Richmond, died unexpectedly on Monday (January 8, 2007) at his residence.� He was born in Richmond on October 16, 1946 and had lived here most of his life.� He had worked for the former Swayne Robinson Company and had also worked for H.E. Woodruff Corporation and as a driver for Safe-Way Taxi.� He was a graduate of Ivy Tech and was a veteran of the US Army.� He had also served with the Indiana National Guard.� Chris was an avid IU fan and took pleasure in kidding and bickering with his grandson Cody about IU and Kentucky basketball.� He also enjoyed camping and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of thirty three years - Terri Hyde Williams;
Son - Brian "Beau" (Tiffany) Williams of Richmond;
Daughter - Elizabeth J. Williams of Richmond;
Brothers - Barney (Elsie) Napier of Boston, Indiana,
John Napier of Richmond, Bob Napier of Richmond;
Sisters- Margaret Davis of Richmond and Becky Stage of Richmond;
Two grandchildren - Cody Williams and Olivia Williams;
Special friends - Lonnie Lee, Stephanie McCord and Carolyn Patterson;

His parents, Woodrow and Mabel Williams Napier, are also deceased.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (January 12, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate.� Burial will be in the Earlham Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Veterans Honor Guard.� Friends may call on Thursday (January 11, 2007) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.�
