In Loving Memory of Clara Geneva (Wright) Honaker
Clara Geneva (Wright) Honaker passed from this earth to meet her Savior face-to-face on November 4, 2025. She was born on January 2, 1939, in Burkesville, Kentucky, and was the last surviving member of a remarkable family of 18 children and her beloved parents, a legacy she carried with grace and strength.
She is survived by her three children: Denice, Darla (Dan), and Bryan (Cammie); nine grandchildren: Jordan (Mary), Zak (Megan), Kara (Chris), Ben (Katy), Bekah, Katie (Brayden), Seth (Miranda), Thomas, and Kylie (Tank)—her "lovely bunch of coconuts," as she affectionately called them. Her love extended to her cherished great-grandchildren: Tyson, Zach, Quentin, Lucy, Ephram, Dotty, Miles, Clemmy, Marvin, Anna, Ivy, Alaina, Wally, Jamar, and Amelia.
Her life was enriched by countless dear friends, each of whom she treasured deeply. A voracious reader, especially of the Bible, she spent many years involved in Bible Study Fellowship, where she nurtured her faith and guided others in theirs. She was a spiritual mentor to many women and a faithful prayer warrior whose devotion to the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life.
Above all, she lived to bring glory to God. Her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and boundless love touched the lives of all who knew her. Her life was a living testimony to her favorite scripture, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life service on November 22, 2025, at 10 AM at First Baptist Church 1601 S. A St, Richmond, IN.
