Clement A. "Clem" Baumer, age 81, of Centerville, died unexpectedly Sunday morning (May 20, 2007) at Reid Hospital.� He was born in Wayne County on July 4, 1925 to Louis and Bertha Bussen Baumer and had lived here all of his life.� He was a 1943 graduate of Richmond High School and had farmed his entire working life.� Clem was a member of Holy Family Church, the YMI and the Centerville-Abington Senior Center.� He was a former member of the Centerville-Abington School Board and of the Abington Township Trustee Board.� He had volunteered as a coach and umpire for the Centerville Youth League.� Clem was a recipient of the Outstanding Farmer Award from the Centerville Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years - Erpha Baumer;
Sons - Mike (Kathie) Baumer of Centerville, James (Sally) Baumer of Centerville, Dennis (Jennifer) Baumer of Centerville;� daughters - Linda (Jerry) Rowe of Greens Fork, Patricia Watko of Carmel, Indiana, Cathy (Glen) Alexander of Richmond and Lisa (James) Davidson of Centerville.; 17 Grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and a great grandchild to be born in November of this year;� nieces & nephews.

A son, Thomas R. Baumer, a granddaughter, Michelle Alexander, and two brothers, Lawrence and Paul Baumer are also deceased.

A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday (May 24, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Church.� Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery.� Friends may call on Wednesday (May 23, 2007) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.� Memorial contributions may be made to Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Fund in Memory of Michelle Alexander in care of
