Cleo L. Berry, age 84, passed away on Friday (August 29, 2014) with family in Grandview, Tennessee. She was born in Grandview, Tennessee on January 17, 1930 to Jessie Reed and Loni Mathis and had lived in Richmond most of her life. Cleo worked at Earlham College for 18 years, and had spent the last 3 ½ years in Tennessee with her daughter. Survivors include children Juanita (Edward) Yant of Richmond, Jack (Cindy) Berry of Richmond, Barbara Garrison of Spring City, Tennessee, Donna (David) Godwin of Grandview, Tennessee, and Troy Berry of Grandview, Tennessee; 8 Grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 16 great-grandchildren; Sisters Wanda (Avery) Reed and Paulie Henderson; Brothers Earl (Joyce) Reed, J.E. (Wanda) Reed, Irvin Reed, Dennis (Joyce) Reed, and Chester (Barbara) Reed. In addition to her parents, her husband Virgil Berry, and a brother Harley Reed are also deceased. Services for Cleo will be held on Thursday (September 4, 2014) at 1 p.m. in Riggle- Waltermann Mortuary. Bishop Robert Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Elkhorn Cemetery.
