Obituary

Constance Lucille Howard, age 95, of Richmond, passed away Monday afternoon (February 21, 2005 - President's Day) at Golden Rule - Beverly Healthcare. She was born on January 11, 1910 in Springfield, Ohio but lived nearly all of her life in Richmond. She was the eldest daughter of Phillip Henry Witte and Kate Constance Wigmore Witte and she was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was also a member of several clubs and organizations. She attended many handicraft courses at Earlham College and she taught handicraft at Golden Rule Nursing Home several years ago. She and her late husband, Archie Hanford Howard, owned and operated the Eastern Blue Print Company when it was located in the Odd Fellows Building..
Survivors include - her only child - Charles Leroy Lewis of Dayton, Ohio
An older brother - Albert Joseph Witte of Nipomo, California
A younger sister - Barbara Ann Kirkpatrick of Tampa, Florida
4 Grandchildren
11 Great Grandchildren
Several nieces, nephews and cousins
She was preceded in death by an older brother, Richard Witte, and a younger sister, Irene Drathring.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday (February 24, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Mollie Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday (February 24, 2005) from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
