Cord Morris, Jr., age 69, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (October 25, 2003) at the home of his daughter. He was born in Bateville, Kentucky on July 9, 1934 to Cord Sr, and May Spencer Morris and had lived in this area most of his life. He had worked in construction and was a member of Laborers Local 1047. He was a member of First Southern Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday (October 28, 2003) at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. David Leffel and Rev. Grady Slaven will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
