Obituary

Curtis Wayne Alvey, age 57, joined the Lord after a long illness on Saturday morning (December 6, 2008).� He was born in Richmond on January 4, 1951 to Marquita Phenis and Carl Wilbur Alvey and was a graduate of Centerville High School.� He worked for Belden for 22 years and was a member of Centerville Christian Church and of the Moose Lodge.� He was a long-time friend of Hand & Hand Adult Day Care.� He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jay Alvey, and by his grandparents, Flip and Mary Asfalg.�
Survivors include his mother - Marquita Allen of Richmond, daughters - Angi Jablonski of Richmond and Mary Alvey of Centerville, sister - Tonya (Bill) Hutzell of Richmond, brothers - Robin Alvey of Richmond and Michael Alvey of Richmond; grandsons - Cody and Jonathan Jablonski.�
Private services will be held at First English Lutheran Church on Monday (December 8, 2008).� Rev. Ashley Valentine-Derrer will officiate.� Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
