It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Rose Breeden, who passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026. She was born in Orlando, Florida on November 22, 1959 to Robert Wardlow and Roberta Nancy (Gray) Smith. Cynthia was a beautiful woman whose love, kindness and strength touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cynthia loved football, racing, watching NASCAR, home interior decorating and loved her fun little games on her phone. She was more than a mother, she was a source of comfort, wisdom laughter and unconditional love. She had a beautiful heart and a way of making people around her feel cared for. She fought a courageous battle with cancer, facing each day with strength, grace and determination. Although her journey as difficult, she never stopped fighting and she continued to be the beautiful loving woman to her family.

Her life was a gift, her love was her legacy, her memory will live in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully, you will be dearly missed. Words could never express the love we have for you.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband David T. Breeden; daughters Ashley Jarboe and Katara Alcorn; grandchildren Miley Alcorn, Jayden Alcorn, Zoey Porter and Brent Diamond Jr.; brother Darren Smith and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents Robert and Roberta, she is preceded in death by her sister Sandra Kay Wardlow and brothers Robert Masson Wardlow Jr. and Robert Louis Wardlow Sr.

A funeral service for Cynthia will be held on Saturday September 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM the same day at the mortuary. Following the funeral service, Cynthia will be laid to rest in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Lynn, Indiana.
