Cynthia (Cindy) Young Herold, age 66, passed away Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan surrounded by her loving family. Cindy was born in Richmond, Indiana to Samuel and Virginia Wessel Young on July 16, 1955. She attended Richmond schools and graduated from RHS in 1973. She enjoyed flower gardening, bunko, crocheting blankets and plastic mats for the homeless, shopping and spending time with her family, most especially with her two grandchildren.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Tom; sons (stepsons) Tony Herold, Brad (Vanessa) Herold; grandchildren Astrid and Lorenzo; sisters Kathy (Russ) Wright and Sherry Skinner; sister-in-law Cheri Gaddis (Dick); brothers-in-law Mike Herold (Mindy), Rick Herold (Brenda) and Ron Herold (Denise); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her fur baby Bernie.

Services for Cindy will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday November 15, 2021 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary with a burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Minister Paula Mayberry will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Monday November 15, 2021 at the funeral home.
