Cynthia L. "Cindy" (Powell) Miller, age 62, of Richmond passed away Sunday September 27, 2015 after a long illness. Born and raised in Richmond, she was a lifelong factory worker who retired from Landis Plastics in 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, William Miller, her mother Mary L. Veregge Powell, her father Alva R. Powell Sr. and a sister Diane Powell. She is survived by her children, Wendy Murphy (Chip) of Cambridge City, James Powell of Michigan City, Ind. And Misty Miller (Emilio) of Richmond, her grandchildren, James, Cinnamon, William, India and Amelia and 3 great grandsons, her sister Patricia Burns, and her brother Alva Powell Jr. and various nieces and nephews. As per Cindy's wishes there will be no services. Interment will be at Economy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the American Cancer Society.
