Darrel Honaker, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2022. He was born August 11, 1938, in Parksville, KY, to Marvin and Della Honaker. He married the love of his life, Clara Wright, on December 24, 1958.

Darrel was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed leading Bible Study Fellowship groups and volunteering at Reid Health. He was an avid UK basketball fan – go Wildcats!
Darrel will be greatly missed by his wife, Clara, their children, Denice Honaker, Darla (Dan) Lane, Bryan (Cammie) Honaker, their grandchildren, Jordan (Mary) Randall, Zak (Megan) Randall, Kara (Chris) West, Ben (Katy) Williams, Bekah Williams, Katie (Brayden) York, Seth (Miranda) Randall, Thomas Williams, Kylie (Tank) Pence, nine great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Bernice Murray, and his brother, Donald James Honaker.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 2-4 PM (service from 2-2:30 and visitation from 2:30 – 4 PM) at First Baptist Church, 1601 South A St, Richmond, IN.
