Dave McDaniel, age 81, passed away on Wednesday (July 23, 2014) at Heritage House of Richmond. He was born in Manchester, Kentucky on September 13th, 1932 to William & Ida McDaniel and had lived in this area most of his life. He worked for 38 years at Swayne Robinson as an inspector. Dave enjoyed reading, attending air shows, and spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. Survivors include his children Naomi (Mike) McKendree of Greens Fork, Dwayne (Sandy) McDaniel of Tennessee, Penny (Rodney) Lanter of New Paris, Shane (Betsy) McDaniel of Greens Forklift; a brother Carl McDaniel; Grandchildren Abnie (Bryson) Hunt, Jessie McDaniel, Clayton McDaniel, Sean McDaniel, Andrew McDaniel, Mandy McKendree; Great grandchildren Loralei McKendree, Maddox Hunt; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his wife Bessie McDaniel, son William McDaniel, granddaughter Courtney Ann McDaniel, and sisters Helen Harris, Rosie McDaniel, and Edna Steele are also deceased. Services for Dave will be held on Monday (July 28, 2014) at 11 a.m. in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Charles McMahon will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery in Greens Fork, Indiana.
