David Joseph Blume, age 48 of Richmond passed away Sunday (October 15, 2017). He was born in Richmond on December 29, 1968 to Leslie James Blume Sr. and Patricia Ann Stoddard Blume. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1989 and was a former employee at Amcast. David loved his cats and dog and had many hobbies including fishing, martial arts and Gold Prospecting. He was a lifetime member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America.
He is survived by his brothers Leslie James Blume Jr and Raymond J. Blume; close friend Gary Phillips and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Services for David will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday (October 19, 2017) at Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Deacon Jim Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday (October 19, 2017) at the funeral home.
