David Eugene Pegg, age 85, of Richmond, Indiana passed away on Thursday May 4, 2023 at Reid Health after suffering a major unexpected health event. Living tissue was donated to the Indiana Organ Donation Network.

David was born on April 8, 1938 in Richmond, Indiana to Robert R. and Clara (Selm) Pegg who preceded him in death as did two brothers, Donald L. Pegg and Ronald K. Pegg. Two brothers survive, Daryl L. (Yolanda) Pegg of Xenia, Ohio and Richard A. (Paris) Pegg of Richmond, Indiana.
David was employed by Sparkle Car Wash for 20+ years and recognized by the company as "Employee of the Month" in September 1991.

David most recently resided at the Leland Legacy and enjoyed outings with staff and other residents. He was most looking forward to attending a Cincinnati Reds game later this month.
In addition to two brothers, David is survived by nephews Keith (Beverly) Pegg of Richmond, IN, Lee (Kim) Pegg of Liberty, IN, Thomas Pegg of Richmond, IN; Craig (Aleasha) Daniels of Baton Rouge, LA; and nieces Carrie (Dave) Rasper of Miamisburg, OH; Chrissy (Mark) Puterbaugh of Mansfield, AK, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for David will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday May 20, 2023 at First English Lutheran Church (in the atrium). Visitation with family and friends will begin at 11:00 am and will be open to the public. Inurnment will follow in the First English Lutheran Church Columbarium.
