David E. Wood, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 22, 2022, at his home in Indianapolis. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on May 20, 1952, to Donald E. and Deloris E. Smittkamp Wood. David graduated from Richmond High School and continued to Central Bible College where he earned his bachelor's degree. David had worked for Noble of Indiana in Indianapolis where he supervised cleaning crews of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother Jeffrey Wood of Pasadena, CA, along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sister Donna Jo Ward.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday March 3, 2022, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary with a visitation from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Boston Cemetery.
