Della"Nana"Sibert, age 78, was born June 27th 1940 in Richmond, Indiana and went home to be with the Lord on Dec.18th 2018 in her home in Florida surrounded by her family. She was dedicated to her Catholic faith & morals. She worked as a storm chaser for REAT for 9yrs along with Pat Herron, Karen (Randy) Gabbard, Scott Mathews and countless others. Later, she retired from Reid Memorial Hospital after many long years. After retirement she enjoyed being outside watching the clouds, feeling the wind and spending time with her family. She touched many lives.
She is survived by her 4 children: Vicky (Ed) Jelly of Richmond, Scott (Cindy) Mathews of Florida, Karen (Randy) Gabbard of Florida, Kimberly Mathews of Florida. Her 8 Grandchildren: Hope (Brad) Shipley, Jeremy (Crystal) Mathews, Nikye (John) Cole, Jason Mathews, Sonny Edeker, Caitlin Arnold, Calvin Arnold, Conner Arnold; 5 great granddaughters and 2 great grandsons; her sister Betty Kuhlenbeck Frame of Richmond and brother Roland Kuhlenbeck of Liberty
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Sibert, her parents Paul & Henrietta Kuhlenbeck, her 2 brothers Richard and William Kuhlenbeck, and sister Marjie Kuhlenbeck. We Love you Mom (Nana); you will be forever missed.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday December 28, 2018 in Saint Andrew Church (235 South 5th Street, Richmond). Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery. Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
