Delsie M. Bennett, age 84, of Richmond, died Thursday afternoon (August 13, 2009) at Forest Park Health Campus. She was born in McKee, Kentucky on May 9, 1925 to Sherman and Lucinda Fox Gray and had lived in this area since 1950. She was a homemaker and a member of Living Faith Church of God.. Her husband, Herschel F. Bennett, died on October 1, 2000. Survivors include her son - Fred (Linda) Bennett of Centerville; daughters - Grethel (Roger) Martin of Fort Wayne, Darlene (Philip) Larson of Houston, Texas; brother - Alvin Gray of Kentucky; special brother-in-law - Aaron Bennett of Lynn; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A daughter, Freeda Bond, and two sons, Gordon Bennett and Terry Bennett, 5 brothers and 2 sisters are also deceased. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday (August 18, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Allen Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
