Don O'Neal Henson, died peacefully at home on Thursday (January 18, 2018) after being ill for several months. He was born on August 16, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Dan and Evelyn (Webb) Henson. Don attended Richmond High School and had been employed in carpet cleaning, lawn care and as a truck driver. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed family vacations and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Teresa (Hatfield) Henson; sons Matthew Henson and Tyler Henson both of Richmond; daughter Lisa Burton of Somerset, Kentucky; sisters Donna Dalton (Ronnie) and Penny Leistner (Mike) both of Ohio; grandchildren Emma, Ella and Tyler Jr Henson, Cameron Wilson and Kayle Holts; several nieces and nephews, an uncle Ray Webb, many friends and his beloved dog "Hank". He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Benjamin Reid, Charles and Eddie Henson; sister D.D. Hubbard and a grandson Jayden.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday (January 23, 2018) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Ronnie Dalton will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (January 23, 2018) from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
