Donald Hartman, age 74, formerly of Richmond passed away Monday (April 24, 2017) surrounded by his family. He was born in Richmond on November 5, 1942 to Albert and Pearl Sipe Hartman. Donald honorably served our country in the U.S. Army spending some of his time in Korea, he was one of the founding members of Amvets in Greensfork, Indiana and was a member American Legion Post 65. He was a member of Rock Solid Ministries in Richmond and enjoyed spending time at the beach, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be missed greatly by all of his family.
Survivors include Anna Hartman; children Brian (Stacy) Hartman of Greenfield and Larry Hartman of California; sister June Ann (Ron) Wessel of Zionsville; grandchildren Tommy and Taylor Hartman; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Pearl; Wanda Smith and brother Dale Hartman.
