Donald L. Miller, age 90, passed away Sunday (October 13, 2013) at Sterling House in Richmond, Indiana. Born February 1, 1923 to Glenn C. and Glenna Wissinger Miller, he lived in Eaton, Ohio for most of his life. He was a pilot and instructor in the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII rising to the rank of first lieutenant. For over forty years he was associated with Miller's Supermarket. He attended Visitation Church in Eaton and Saint Andrew's Church in Richmond. For the past five years his home has been Sterling House. Survivors include his wife, Veronica Vosmeier Miller; one son,David (Charmaine) Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter, Marilyn (John) Freeman of Potsdam, New York; one brother, Robert L. Miller of Eaton, Ohio; two sisters, Louise Holt of Troy, Ohio and Lucille Johnson of West Union, Ohio; three grandchildren, Andrea Larson, Jason M. Albright, and Deshan deSilva; four great grandchildren, Chase Larson, Hayden Larson, Jason R. Albright, and Theresa Albright. Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother Marie Miller. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Andrew's Church on Friday (October 18, 2013) at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Saint Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday (October 17, 2013) from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
