Donald Swafford, age 82, of Richmond, died Saturday (April 2, 2005) at Reid Hospital. He was born on January 13, 1923 in Kitchel, Indiana to Lewis and Ethel Jones Swafford and had lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Kitchel High School and he was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired employee of Belden and a member of the Belden 25 Year Club. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include - Wife - Janice Swafford to whom he was married 58 years
Daughter - Pam (husband B.J.) Bryant of Richmond
Grandson - Jason (wife Samantha) Bryant of Richmond
Granddaughter - Kimberly (husband Eric) Schroeder of Richmond
Great Great Granddaughter - Shelby Bryant
Private services will be held on Tuesday (April 5, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Jim Miller will officiate. There will be no public calling. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. www.riggle-waltermann.com
