Doris M. Stenger, age 92, of Richmond passed away on August 8, 2018 at Reid Hospital. Doris was born on November 19, 1925 in Riley, Ohio to Fred and Edith Violet Quinlan Stenger. Doris had been employed by the Richmond Glove Factory, Wernle Home, and did senior in-home care. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Richmond, IN. as well as the Holy Family Women's Club and the Centerville Senior Center. Doris loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She always enjoyed hearing about friends' and family members' tales of their pets.
Survivors include sister-in-law, Eileen (Kreutzer) Stenger; three nieces Vickie (Peter) Davis, Kathy (Glen) Hunt, and Linda Stenger; two great nephews; and one great-great nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Edith Stenger and brother, Harry E. Stenger.
Liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday August 11, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church (815 West Main St Richmond, Indiana). Burial will immediately follow at Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery (405 Us Hwy 52 Cedar Grove, Indiana). Father Kevin will officiate. Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on August 11, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
