Dorothy Joan Phenis, 89, entered the presence of the Lord on December 7, 2025. She spent most of her life in Richmond, Indiana surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply.

Dorothy was a devoted mother of Gary Phenis; Annette Goble; Scott (Mary) Franklin; Deborah Phenis; Michelle Smith; Joanna (William) McGathey She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren.

She is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Ross, her daughters Annette and Deborah, her parents Leo and Georgia Farr, sister and brothers and other family members who passed before her.

Dorothy loved Jesus with all of her heart. She lived a life of unwavering faith, gentle strength, and endless love. Her greatest joy was her family, to whom she dedicated her entire life. She was a wonderful cook and found peace in reading and reflection.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now in the arms of her Savior, welcomed home with perfect peace. "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted."- Matthew 5:4

A private graveside service will be held for her family.
