Obituary

Dorothy M. Quinn, age 84, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (November 5, 2009) at Arbor Trace. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on November 14, 1924 to Herman and Mary Rump Brellage and had lived here most of her life. She was a member of the Richmond High School Class of 1943 and was very proud to officially graduate with her two sons, Michael and Jerald, in 1985. She lived in the Fairview neighborhood for many years and was a retired employee of the former Cox's Market. Dorothy was a member of First Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband, Clarence Robert Quinn, died in 1978. Survivors include her daughters - Connie Quinn of Indianapolis, Joyce (Tim) Williams of Columbus, Ohio; sons - Robert R. (Brenda) Quinn of Clinton, Tennessee, Jerald Quinn of Richmond, Michael C. (Dorothy) Quinn, Sr., of Richmond; sister - Alma Sheets of Richmond; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A brother, Ralph Brellage, is also deceased. A public Celebration of Life will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday (November 9, 2009) in First Christian Church (100 South 10th Street) with Rev. Amanda Hines officiating. Private burial services will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hand in Hand Adult Day Care of Richmond, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374 Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
