Dorthea J. Carlin Marsh, age 86, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (May 5, 2010) at her residence. She was born in Milton, Indiana on February 7, 1924 to Charles and Laura Vance Carlin and had lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Her husband, Charles J. Marsh, died on December 29, 1989. Survivors include her daughters �" Lorrean (Donnie) Nelson of Centerville, Linda (Chuck) Thatcher of Economy, Lovina (Billy) Edwards of Richmond, Diana (Roger Key) Shelton of North Carolina; sons �" Charles (Tracy) Marsh of Richmond, John (Elaine) Marsh of Richmond,; brother �" Charles Carlin of Centerville; her dog �" "Tiny"; 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A brother, Alvin Carlin, is also deceased. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday (May 7, 2010) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Mark Thomas will officiate.
