Earl Williams, age 86, of Richmond, passed away peacefully Friday evening (April 6, 2012) surrounded by his family. He was born in North Carolina on March 27, 1926 to Charlie and Amy Williams and had lived here for the past 16 years. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and had worked in the meat packing industry. Earl loved to drink and gamble and enjoyed his female companionship. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge and Druids Lodge. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter - Vicci Williams and daughter-in-law - Selena Williams of Richmond, granddaughter - Cynthia Kitchens, great grandson - Wyatt Kitchens. Friends may call on Wednesday (April 11, 2011) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. No public service is planned.
