Edie Kay Johnson Kannianen, age 45, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (April 28, 2004) at the home of her sister. She was born in Richmond on March 14, 1959 to Edwin and Airy Elizabeth Shocklee Johnson and had lived in Richmond most of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and had worked at Dillards. She had managed a jazz club before moving back here from Florida in February of this year.

Companion - Lanny Fink of Port St. Lucie, Florida
Grandchildren - Taylor Neal, Logan Petitt, soon to be Jenna Kay Petitt, Brayden Ellison

Her parents, two brothers, Bobby Shepard and Jerry Thompson, and a sister, Carol Smith are also deceased.
Services will be held at 11:00 am (Indiana Time) on Saturday (May 1, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (April 30, 2004) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Indiana Time) at the funeral home.
