Edna Mae Pittman, age 82, of Richmond passed away on Thursday (May 28, 2020) at Reid Health. Edna was born on September 14, 1937 to John William Sr. and Hazel Irene Mitchell Alvey in Richmond, Indiana. She was a retiree of Anchor Hocking Glass Company in Winchester, Indiana. Edna loved sports and was an avid golfer. She also enjoyed playing games, cards and going to church. Edna regularly attended The Centerville Nazarene Church.
Survivors include son Steve Pittman; siblings Phyllis (Michael) Hildebrand, Ruth Haskett, Bonnie (Clay) Kenworthy, Carolyn Schwab, John (Deanna) Alvey and Phillip (Lucille) Alvey; grandson Jeremy Pittman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Don Pittman and sister Ester Mock.
Services for Edna will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday (June 4, 2020) at Centerville Nazarene Church (7181 US 40 Centerville, Indiana). Pastor Trevor Stanley will officiate. Family and friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday (June 4, 2020) at Centerville Nazarene Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Edna's name can be made to Centerville Nazarene Church.
