Obituary

Edna R. Ray, age 73, formerly of Winchester, died Monday morning (April 19, 2010) at her residence in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on November 12, 1936 in Loudon County (Lenoir City), Tennessee to Theodore and Pearl Pesterfield Crass and had lived in this area most of her life before moving to Dayton three years ago. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of Saint Vincent Randolph Hospital. She was a member of the Church of God. Her husband, Earl L. Ray, died on July 17, 2001. Survivors include her daughters - Debra Jordon of Dayton, Ohio, Bethann Reno of Dayton, Ohio; brothers - Zeb Crass of Richmond, Clyde Crass of Richmond; sisters - June Kemp of Winchester, Agnes Barnett of Lenoir City, Tennessee, Patsy Stratton of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Lou VanOchuen of Lenoir City, Tennessee; grandchildren - Brandy Ray, Tyler Reno, Dillon Constable, Amanda Francis, Steven Skaggs, Jasmin Skaggs; great grandchildren - Allysa Francis, Anastasia Smith, Dennis Smith, Jr.; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday (April 25, 2010) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Marie Smith of the Stillwater United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday (April 24, 2010) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
