Elizabeth C. "Betty" Smith, age 96, of Richmond, died Sunday afternoon (August 20, 2006) at Oakridge Rehab & Specialty Care.� She was born in Wooten, Kentucky on March 24, 1910 to George M. and Polly J. Hamilton Caudill and had lived in this area most of her life.� She was a graduate of Berea College and had worked as an Avon representative.� She was a retired employee of Wayne Dairy.� After her retirement, she served as a teacher's aid at Starr School.� Betty was a long-time active member of First Christian Church.� Her husband, Delmar Smith, died on December 23, 2000.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday (August 26, 2006) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Bruce Naylor will officiate.� Entombment will be in Earlham Mausoleum.� Friends may call on Saturday (August 26, 2006) from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.��
