Ella Mae Tincher went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2012. She was born in Gest, Kentucky to Herman and Sarah Kathryn Frost on March 26, 1923. She graduated from Pleasureville High School in Pleasureville, Kentucky. Ella worked at the Cadillac Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan before entering the United States Navy as a Navy Wave. She was authorized to wear the World War II Victory Ribbon. Ella married C. Carl Tincher on December 23, 1945. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ella was a member of First Baptist Church in Richmond for sixty four years. She is survived by two sons - Ron (Phyllis) Tincher of Nampa, Idaho and Steve (Susan) Tincher of Richmond; four grandchildren - Jeff (Jennifer) Tincher, Brian (Rebekah) Tincher, Tiffany (Travis) Byram and Ben Tincher; four great grandchildren - Matteo Santiago, Lane Tincher, Koltin Tincher, Opal Byram; four brothers, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Tincher, her parents, a sister and five brothers. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (June 9, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. James Spon will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday (June 8, 2012) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
