Ernie R. Pence, age 64, of Eaton Ohio, was received by the Lord on Sunday March 7th, 2021. Ernie was born on December 5, 1956, to Dale and Julia Pence. He graduated from National Trail High School and went on to lead a full life as a Machinist for Parker Hannifin, a volunteer Fire Fighter and EMT on Rescue Squad, and a wood worker/furniture maker. In his retirement he enjoyed storytelling, being a grandfather, fishing, and being a servant of the Lord. He was an amazing Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Ernie is preceded in death by Teresa Howington and Barb J Pence. He is survived by brother Dennis (Mary); children Sarann Pence, Rebekah Wilson, John (Cassandra) Pence, Anthony (Barb) Crawford, Stephanie (Eric) Malone and Ben (Patty) Crawford. He was Papaw Hero to his grandchildren Quentin, Matthew, Carson, Kaylie, Harmony and step-grandchildren.

Services for Ernie will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday (March 13, 2021) at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, 32 South 11th St. Richmond, IN 47374. Burial will immediately follow in Earlham Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
